(Our thinking committee or some of us i guess;) )
And we came up with a "Hawaiian Beach theme" :)
So after our thinking session we started cooking:) Bethy made the chicken, rice and broth stuff. And other people, including her, helped make or cut up other stuff, while Gracie and I made the liquid stuff to turn into ice-cream
It was hard:)
Just kidding :) We had fun...
These are some mini hawaiian pizzas that we used as appetizers along with fruit shishkabobs (sp??)
After cooking some stuff we set up the outside resturaunt type area:) and the people who did that did awesome!!!! :) It looked amazing!! And really cool! :) yay! anywho so then we practiced what we were going to do..... After that we got dressed up as waiters and waitresses :) All the girls wore our hawaiian lookin' capulanas with blue shirts, and all the guys wore bathing suit or tan shorts and t-shirts with a towel.

Anywho, the parents came in and Kent went out to greet them (saying "Aloha, and welcome to Gandolamor Aloha") and then Dot, kent, Ian, and Gracie all put home made leis (out of real flowers that Damarise and Kent made, they were so pretty!!!! )

After we got them seated all the waiters and waitresses came out to say "aloha" and welcome them. Then we started on our skits(which dealt with lil' things parents do as husband and wife) ;)
The first one was of lil' Andrew and Bethy. ... And the plot for their skit was that Andrew had been waiting and waiting for his wife to come back from shopping so he was finally just gunna go to a resturant and his wife would come in "20 minutes" haha yah right! So yah poor andrew was stuck at the resturaunt all during our parent's meal:) But their skit was great!!!
Gracie as "the manager" from the last time and I the assistant manager (who later on got fired cause the manager couldn't stand it) showing andrew a place to wait for his "wife"
And finally right before we served dessert, Bethy, the long lost shopping "wife", returned!!! :) but in the mean time, while andrew was sitting there we had plenty of other skits :)
The second skit was with Dot and Kent, a husband and wife, getting a wedding present for Harry and his wife;).... The husband wants something practical (a multi purpose drill ... or something like that) from Office Depot and the wife wants to get a lamp from Bed, Bath & Beyond. So they have their lil' "No what you were thinking getting a screwdriver for Harry!!!", "It's practical" sort of talk:) It was very well done!!!!

Then before the next skit we served our parents dinner. We had Hawaiian Stack up (rice, chicken, broth, pinnapple, coconut, almonds, onions, and something else i think) so everyone came out 2 by 2 carrying a food item and serving to each parent:) It looked cool:)
The third skit was with Sarah and Benaiah, and was about Sarah getting a new shirt and Benaiah says," Oh you got a new shirt." And then Sarah goes off on how, " Oh it's the color isn't it! You only mention my new clothes if you don't like them! No, It makes me look fat! Oh i knew it!" And marshes off leaving Benaiah rather... tongue tied. but then sarah comes back asks for the keys and they left. they did super... from what i heard:)
Sarah and Benaiah:) and after they left I, the assistant manager, comes back to see where my guests are and they are gone. So I get fired because I couldn't even get a costumer to stay. So yah we made a scene type thing out of that:)
Fourth on the line of skits was Gracie and Ian. Hehe. it a very typical one with the wife who has no clue how to use the cell phone, it rings she freaks out cause she can't answer and he calmly helps her, then she hangs up on accident and then she wants to text and then the went to the "inside resturant" (or behind the sheet in the door way) And you hear gracie, " woah, woah it's blinking oh no! AHHH... It's gunna blow up!!!!" CrAsH, bAnG... Ian: " nooo, that phone cost $200!!!" haha the parents got a big kick out of that one! And Ian and Gracie you guys did super duper!!!! :)

then we served the moms and dads dessert :) It was ice cream sundaes:) Mmmmm!!! So we had ice cream;), chocolate sauce, twizzlers, and peanuts:)
During dessert The Second and I did our skit. Parents traveling in a car;)
So we were American tourists from South Dakota, who were trying to get to the restauraunt for breakfast but ended up there for dinner! We had made a reservation for breakfast and everything. And Our waitress(Dot) tells us that well it was for breakfast so we don't have the table reserved anymore and there is no room here... so yah then we went into how guys never ask for directions and well the girls had to go to the bathroom so many times and yah all that! And then the waitress comes back to tell us that our reserved table has for sure been taken and sorry.... So The Second and I decide to go to McDonalds (since we can at least get there without getting lost) ... but not before we took a picture with a "Native Hawaiian!!!" haha... such tourists!
Dot," Aloha" ... The second," AHola" (at the same time as I say," ALOHA!!!!") Then we look at each other and at the same time say... The Second," aLoha?!" me," aHola?!" :)
Then after we were done we went into the kitchen to eat some icecream and clean up a lil...
Then we brought the parents inside to play a parent feud type thing. It was moms against dads and the moms won!! :) The questions were about kids and parents.... :)
then we cleaned up some more.... took a couple family pics:)

And then we went home:(.... But it was a very fuuuuun night!!! Everyone did awesome!!!!! And thanks to Salomé for all your help in the kitchen!! It was fun!!!! I love our family!!! :)
