Longest word?!?

Well the wood side of the Woodbull family knows the looongest word!!!! it is..... pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis... 45 letters long! Shocking!!! So congrats to them for knowing the longest word wood side of the Family:)

Sisters forever

"There is no better friend than a sister. And there is no better sister than you."

Woodbull's 1st anniversary (February 18, 2007)

To celebrate the one month that the Woodbull family have been together, we decided to go to Mount Nairoco. Thankfully Kent can drive, so he drove us there and we walked to this one spot behind some trees, and it was so beautiful! It had this little creek flowing through it and it was so nice and cool and it had lots of trees and bushes around it. It didn't seem like Mozambique at all.

We all ended up getting at least a little wet...Kent and I got the wettest:-P But the second was hanging over these bars over the lake, and somehow he flipped over backwards and landed *plop* right into the water, so maybe he was the most wet:-P

And the boys went climbing up the rocks, and I climbed (with the second's help) up this really tall rock with the second, Andrew, and Ian. So we "conquered the world"

And we took pics lots of pics also. oh, and of course we had to take a family pic...but like all family pics with lots of pics some one was always doing a weird face or not paying attention:-P hahaha!

And then we got a sister pic....ohhhh and the girl in the blue shirt...she's Salume (sorry I don't know how to spell her name) Anyways, she's from South Africa and she's staying with the Woodrow's for 6 months, and she's really sweet. But ya, I think we might make her the Woodbull cousin:-)

and a brother pic

And right before we left we got something to drink,

and then we got home around 7ish. And Kent prayed for us, and then we read the document, and I think we might have finally come up with a theme song...not to sure on that though:-P But we had lots of fun!!!:-D

*Dot*

Water tradition

Kent and I have started this tradition that everytime we see eachother usually none of us go away being dry...we are always freezing non-filtered water and pouring it down eachother's backs...hahaha...then when we've run out of water we see who is the wettest and whoever is, then that is the "winner" (we don't really have a winner:-P) then we go "African ice skating"...clean up the water on the floor with towels....then we twist up the towels and see how good our aim is:-P hahaha! So yes, we usually end up pretty wet, but hey, it's Africa...it's nice to be cooled down and wet:-P

Nicknames

okey dokey, I thought that I would put down everyone's nicknames, because I'll be using them in all the posts I write:-P

The Woodbull Story (from dot's point of view)

May 4th, 2006
The Woodrow Family came to visit the us (the Turnbull family) in Massachusets for 3 days and we clicked almost immediatly. One day they went to Cape Cod together and all the girls were following the signs on the trail..ex. When there was a stop sign we would stop and we couldn't move until someone said go. And then the boys would write signs on the ground and we would translate them different and put them all together, and we just had loads of fun and we laughed like the WHOLE time! But then they had to leave and we wouldn't see them until we were in Mozambique:-(

October 4, 2006
The Turnbulls got to Mozambique. And it was quite shocking, but God helped us through the adjusting part:-)

November 8, 2006
The Woodrows got to Mozambique. And The Turnbulls and and the Woodrows were reunited, and it felt like they had always been together. And without them, I know that living in Mozambique without them just wouldn't be the same, and definantly not as happy. Our God is an awesome God!!!!

January 18, 2007
The Turnbull parents had gone with the Zooks to the Lolo tribe and the Woodrows were kind enough to watch the Turnbull kids while their parents were gone. The last day that the Turnbull kids were to be there. Us girls were giving pedicures to each other and I said to Bethy and Gracie, " you guys are so lucky, cause you have older brothers." And Bethy said, "We could share them." And right then somethin' clicked, and we all looked up and we were like, "We should adopt eachother!!" So we were all like really excited and we came up with this grand idea that we would write up an official adoption paper and all sign it and put our fingerprints on it

And then we had to figure out a name combined with both of our last names...so first we came up with Turnrows...but no, that sounded to cheesy, then we came up with Woodbulls, and that is what it has stayed as.

And we made these really cool designs....
a star...

and WB for Woodbulls

And now we are one big happy family and...hahaha...we even act like we're family:-D

"'I tell you the truth, Jesus replied, 'No one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mothers or fathers or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, BROTHERS, SISTERS, mothers, children and fields-and with them persecutions) and in the age to come eternal life."' -Mark 10: 29&30

"'I tell you the truth,' Jesus said to them, 'no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and in the age to come, eternal life."' -Luke 18:29-30

I personally think that these verses fit perfectly...because both of our families left grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, houses, and other stuff. And yet, God gave us another family here. And that just makes me SO thankful!!!
